Arrived in the rain by train and so glad Ibis Budget is just steps away from station. Front desk is welcoming. Good breakfast is priced right and quite adequate. Rooms are smallish but have everything. Can check out a hair dryer at front desk.

It was always gonna be a short stay but even for a little more than 5 hours it was faultless from the checking way past midnight (kudos to the night ckerk) to the lush mattress and beddings Top quality price ratio

The location is very good for anyone travelling. The hotel is right next to the train station and the tram connection to the airport and all public transport links to sightsee in Lyon. The rooms are basic but functional and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. We did pay more than “budget” as we only booked a few days before hand.
